Profile Football Stars | Alex Song | Song was called-up for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations and was the only Cameroonian named in the Team of the Tournament. Known for his colorful hair dye, Song also possesses a French passport. Song was born in Douala, Cameroon and lost his father at the age of three. Song joined the Bastia youth team in 2003-04 and became a part of the first team the following season with 31 appearances. Bastia were playing in French Ligue 1 during the time Alex Song had a stint there. Song was Noted for his high versatility  While playing for Bastia, he was selected as a part of French U-16 football team. He later chose to represent Cameroon his country of birth. Profile Football Stars | Phil Jones | Jones has represented England at Various Levels and is currently a member of the senior England squad. Jones joined the Blackburn Rovers youth team in 2002. He then joined the senior team for the 2009-10 Premier League season, signing a two-year professional contract,  and was given the squad number 28. He made his first team debut for Blackburn after starting the League Cup game against Nottingham Forest on 22 September 2009, in the which Blackburn won 1-0. Jones made his first Premier League start for Chelsea against Blackburn on 21 March, in a 1-1 draw at Ewood Park. Phil Jones on as a substitute came against Manchester United for Blackburn when Man United beat Blackburn 7-1. Unfortunately, a torn knee cartilage injury in a game against West Ham United in December, Threatened to rule him out for the remainder of the season. Despite his injury, he played 26 league games, and two cup games for Blackburn That season.


At the end of the 2010-11 season, Manchester United were reportedly interested in signing Jones. Sir Alex Ferguson was apparently impressed with Jones' commitment and leadership skills when he came on as a sub for Blackburn Rovers in their 7-1 defeat to United. On 13 June 2011, United Confirmed That They had reached an agreement to sign Jones on a five-year deal for an undisclosed transfer fee believed to be at least £ 16.5m; the deal would be finalist upon his return from international duty . He made his debut for the club on the 2011 pre-season tour to the USA, in United's 3-1 victory over the Chicago Fire. At the end of the 2010-11 season, Manchester United were reportedly interested in signing Jones.


Jones made his debut for the England under-19 team in the 3-1 win over Turkey on 17 November 2009. On 4 August 2010, Jones was called up to the England under-21 squad. On 7 October 2011, He made his debut for the senior England team in a Euro 2012 qualifying 2-2 away draw against Montenegro. After the game, Capello said Jones was "born with talent", and praised his performance.
