Profile Football Stars | Alex Song | Song was called-up for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations and was the only Cameroonian named in the Team of the Tournament. Known for his colorful hair dye, Song also possesses a French passport. Song was born in Douala, Cameroon and lost his father at the age of three. Song joined the Bastia youth team in 2003-04 and became a part of the first team the following season with 31 appearances. Bastia were playing in French Ligue 1 during the time Alex Song had a stint there. Song was Noted for his high versatility  While playing for Bastia, he was selected as a part of French U-16 football team. He later chose to represent Cameroon his country of birth. Profile Football Stars | Bas Dost | Dost's first club was Germanicus, where he played here in his youth period. After a few seasons, FC Emmen Dost took into their youth academy. Dost showed his potential at Emmen and the club Offered him a contract before the start of the 2007/08 season, during the which he played the main squad. Dost scored his first goal for Emmen on 8 February 2008 in the game against Fortuna Sittard.


Dost moved to Heracles Almelo in the summer of 2008, for a transfer fee of more than € 300,000. On 18 May 2010 the young striker was signed by SC Heerenveen, the 20 year old arrived from Heracles Almelo for a transfer fee of around € 3.1 million and signed with his new club a five-year-deal. On 10 December 2011, Dost scored all five goals in Heerenveen's 5-0 win away to Excelsior.
