Known for his colorful hair dye, Song also possesses a French passport. Song was born in Douala, Cameroon and lost his father at the age of three. Song joined the Bastia youth team in 2003-04 and became a part of the first team the following season with 31 appearances. Bastia were playing in French Ligue 1 during the time Alex Song had a stint there. Profile Football Stars | Ricky van Wolfswinkel | On 5 April 2008, Van Wolfswinkel made his debut for Vitesse's first team. In his third match this season, against Sparta Rotterdam, Van Wolfswinkel scored his first Eredivisie goal.


Van Wolfswinkel started the 2010/11 Champions League with a goal in a 3-1 loss against Feyenoord. On the 22 August 2010, he scored two goals against Willem II, resulting in a 3-0 win for Utrecht. On 26 August 2010, Van Wolfswinkel scored a hat-trick against Celtic in the UEFA Europa League. Utrecht went on to win the match 4-0. On the 3rd of October, 2010, Van Wolfswinkel Penalties scored two against Ajax to gain a 2-1 away win over the Dutch runners-up.


On 15 September 2011 he scored in the 2-0 win against FC Zurich, for the UEFA Europa League, scoring another goal in 19 September against Rio Ave, two more five days later against Vitória FC, and another one against SS Lazio on 29 September 2011 . His impressive goal scoring form led to him being awarded the SJPF Player of the Month for September 2011.. Van Wolfswinkel already played some matches for the Dutch national youth sides.
