Profile Football Stars | Alex Song | Song was called-up for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations and was the only Cameroonian named in the Team of the Tournament. Known for his colorful hair dye, Song also possesses a French passport. Song was born in Douala, Cameroon and lost his father at the age of three. Song joined the Bastia youth team in 2003-04 and became a part of the first team the following season with 31 appearances. Bastia were playing in French Ligue 1 during the time Alex Song had a stint there. Song was Noted for his high versatility  While playing for Bastia, he was selected as a part of French U-16 football team. He later chose to represent Cameroon his country of birth. During his time at Bastia, he attracted attention from numerous clubs, Including Inter , Juventus , Manchester United , Lyon, and Middlesbrough . Profile Football Stars | Andrea Ranocchia | In August 2008, Genoa purchased half of the registration rights for € 1.55 million and sent him on loan to Bari coach Antonio Conte rejoining Arezzo, where he won the Serie B Championship. On 26 June 2009 Genoa have signed him outright for another € 2.45 million, made Genoa paid € 4 million in total within a year.


Unfortunately, in January he suffered a season ending knee injury serious. On 1 July 2010 he moved back to Genoa. After a link with Internazionale in February 2010, the clubs Agreed a deal in June 2010 the which INVOLVED the transfer of young striker Mattia Destro. Ranocchia also loaned back to Genoa for a season.


The president of Inter, Moratti, spoke on the transfer to Sky Italia and said: "Finally an Italian. On 9 January 2011, Ranocchia made his debut against Catania where Inter won the match 2-1.  On 21 August 2007 he made his debut with the Italy U-21 squad in a friendly match against France.
